Join us for networking and socializing at our Pizza with a Purpose event on Friday, August 26, 2022, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in the courtyard at Journey Downtown, located at 300 Main Street in Vacaville. It’s an all you can eat woodfired outdoor pizza event for $10 with live music and fabulous raffle prizes. This event will benefit CANB – Change and New Beginnings (formerly known as Community Action North Bay.) Partnering with CANB is the Black Chamber of Commerce, Valley Strong Credit Union, the VFW, and the Veterans of Foreign War Auxiliary. CANB is a nonprofit agency that houses homeless Veterans, chronically homeless individuals with disabilities, provides rental assistance to prevent homelessness and has an emergency shelter in Fairfield. CANB provides wrap around services for low-income people throughout Solano County. Come learn more about us, enjoy delicious pizza, no host beverages and meet some of our community partners! Following this event is a tribute concert at Journey Downtown featuring the FA/SO PRESENTS TWO QUEENS TRIBUTE – JOURNEY DOWNTOWN honoring the amazing voices of Tina Turner and Aretha Franklin.
